Tip for the top: how to improve your english and have fun!

Hi, Kids!

This is a virtual space, created just for you: you will find a lot of interesting and funny ways to learn more without getting too fed up with studying.
Ler's start with something you really liked, I'm talking about Hamlet, do you remember we watched that tragedy some weeks ago?

Well, have a look at these links to find out more about Mr.Shakespeare and his works:
www.cps.ednet.ns.c
a/Shakespeare/shakeplays/hamlethome.htm

Some kids like you, in Canada, have build those page after studying about Willy S.

Do you think you know everything about this guy?
If you have any trace of a doubt, you can find more information on
www.cps.ednet.ns.ca/pageone.htm

Now, let's do something together for our class: in fifteen days, we'll have a Shakespeare's conference with other classes. We'll need to get some material done so to show it to your schoolmates. Please choose some classmates to work with, and one task among the ones in this list:

  1. Make posters of The Globe Theatre advertising upcoming plays.
  2. Think of your favourite characters and give them modern jobs, give reasons.
  3. Discuss female characters and look for the characteristics we may adnìmire and those we may not.

Here comes the solution for the exercise you had to do for today's lesson:

Line 1: goes
line 2: does
line 3: thinks
line 4: buys
line 5: studies

Do you remember? It was about Present Simple and spelling variations.

That's all, for today. If you have any intriguing idea about more possible suggestions for Shakespeare' Day, please post them in this space.

C U!
